Summary:

In the summer of 2001 ten engineering and science students participated in a set of research and training exercises at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland. This program provided these students with the opportunity to work on interesting projects of current interest at one of the world's premier scientific laboratories in a collaborative environment and an international setting. At the end of their eight-week stay at CERN each student presented a brief talk to their mentors and fellow students describing their summer work. These talks are collected here below:
